Air France, the official airline partner of the Cannes Film Festival, is making a splash on the French Riviera with a unique hospitality concept. For a limited time, from now until May 25th, festival attendees and globetrotters alike can experience a taste of French luxury at La Plage, Air France’s pop-up beach club.

Soaking Up the Sun in Style

This marks a first for Air France in its four-decade partnership with the Cannes Film Festival. Located next to the Hôtel Martinez on the Boulevard de la Croisette, La Plage offers prime beachside relaxation just steps away from the Palais des Festivals. Unlike many exclusive Cannes events, La Plage is open to the public, strategically positioned to attract visitors and showcase the Air France brand.

A Culinary Delight

La Plage isn’t just about lounging in the sun. The pop-up features a full-service restaurant and bar overseen by Michelin-starred French celebrity chef Jean Imbert. The menu reflects Air France’s recently revamped in-flight dining experience, allowing guests to experience the airline’s culinary offerings on the ground.

Beyond the Beach

While soaking up the sun is a major draw, La Plage offers more than just sand and surf. Visitors can relax on comfortable sunbeds and enjoy furniture and homeware from the Air France Beach collection, now available for purchase online alongside the airline’s usual suitcases and travel accessories.

Planning Your Visit

Open daily from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm, La Plage requires reservations in advance. To complement the beachside experience, Air France is also offering two special flights – one on May 13th and the return trip on May 27th – providing a direct connection between Los Angeles and Nice aboard the latest Airbus A350 with its cutting-edge cabins. This caters to the growing demand for travel to French Riviera events like the Monaco F1 Grand Prix.

Air France isn’t the only luxury brand making its presence known at Cannes this year, but with its pop-up beach club, the airline is certainly making a statement.
